So basically they

– killed ½ of their lgbt rep after promising we would “get to meet” him, leading us to believe they would get a reunion, and basking in praises we gave them for lgbt rep.
– they literally made shiro’s gayness ambiguous (you wouldn’t even know he was in a relationship with adam. we were confirmed of this outside the show.)
– made the female villains of the show romantically coded. S/O TO THE EVIL LESBIAN TROPE.
– made allura ALL OF A SUDDEN, after 6 seasons of turning lance down, have feelings for him?? Like literally there was no build up. They didn’t even interact a whole lot in the episodes before and NOW THEY ARE PINNING SWEETHEARTS???? It felt so rushed and out of place.
– made a clearly gay coded character have a romantic love interest for the sake of it because THAT LITERALLY CAME OUT OF NOWHERE. THEY REALLY THREW THAT IN THERE. THEY HAD NEVER EVEN SPOKEN UNTIL THIS SEASON.
– matt came back with a space rebel gf.
– hunk got reunited with shay (bless because I love them) but like all these straight couples, two that were so forced down our throats, got to be happy and live??? And the gays??? NOPE. DEAD, ALWAYS SUFFERING, AND EVIL.
