what if no blood color ACTUALLY biologically lives longer than the other but lower bloods are treated worse and get lower quality food and more potent sopor slime which makes them physically weaker (since physical strength isnt a quality needed in helmsmen OR cannon fodder with psionics OR cannon fodder with great enough numbers) and then when they go to war they’re either a) stuck with more dangerous jobs or b) it turns out that the aging differences were just propaganda fed to kids to make them believe lowbloods were inferior and that them dying wasnt such a big deal
