Think about why it’s illegal to hire a hit man.

All you’re really doing is speaking and giving someone money.

It’s legal to speak.

It’s legal to give someone money.

Even if they actually complete the job, you’re not the one who committed the murder.

So why is it illegal to hire a hit man?

Could it be because inciting violence is not protected under free speech?

And if that’s the case, why should free speech protect Nazis advocating genocide?

my deep unbreakable love of the concept of meeting and falling in love with the same person across universes and reincarnations and desiring homestuck content about that so i can have dave and karkat slapping into each other in universe after universe and always somehow ending up together because the strands of destiny just end up always meeting like that

FIGHT WITH

my respect for one of homestuck’s most important themes and in fact a core concept behind its creation being the idea that every session is different and that the circumstances of each individual session and universe affect what happens and whether or not that makes those things “not real” is all a matter of perspective and within these universes people can connect with each other in extremely different ways than we expected and the idea that two people are ultimately always fated to love each other in every universe runs directly against that concept

ULTIMATE WINNER

the fact that it will always be true that in the alpha timeline with the happy ending where everyone survived that Dave and Karkat needed to meet and fall in love for everything to work out. that their relationship and mutual growth together was so important it was one of the things that needed to happen in order for pieces of the story to fall in line and allow for the ultimate reward
