Karkat is loud. You can hear him talking and stomping around throughout the fucking meteor! He can’t sneak up on dave! He can’t even whisper properly. He’s safe. He may be an obnoxious asshole, but he’s literally all bark with no bite. Dave isn’t innocent either, tho. Like a lot of people try to woobify him. he can clap back to karkats insults with no issue at all. He loves getting under karkats skin, but he knows when its time to stop. They’re best friends, they know how to take each other’s bullshit and they can rely on each other when they need it.

Saying that karkat is ANYTHING like bro is absolutely wrong, and quite frankly. insulting as shit to those who actually read the comic and understand the characters. And on the other side, him being a loud dumbass isnt
